By downloading, installing, or using OpenConduit you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the software.
1. License
OpenConduit is released under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 (AGPL-3.0). You may use, copy, modify, and distribute the software under those terms. If you intend to use OpenConduit as part of a proprietary product or service without complying with the AGPL's copyleft requirements, a commercial license is required — see [email protected].
2. Your API keys and accounts
OpenConduit connects to third-party AI providers using API keys you supply. You are solely responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your API keys
- All usage and associated costs incurred through those keys
- Complying with each provider's terms of service
3. Acceptable use
You must not use OpenConduit to:
- Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, or harassing
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or circumvent AI provider safety systems
- Build or operate automated systems that violate any provider's API terms
- Infringe the intellectual property rights of any party
4. Live Collaboration (Labs feature)
Live Collaboration is an experimental Labs feature. Conversation data in an active room is relayed through our infrastructure for the duration of the session. You must not use this feature to share or relay content that violates Section 3.
5. Disclaimer of warranties
OpenConduit is provided "as is" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. The entire risk as to the quality and performance of the software is with you.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the OpenConduit contributors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the software, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
7. Third-party services
OpenConduit integrates with third-party AI providers and MCP servers. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of those services. Your use of them is governed by their own terms.
8. Modifications
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes and the "Last updated" date above will be revised. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
